Based in Copenhagen, Jan is Airland’s Group CEO and a pioneer in freight forwarding with over 45 years’ experience. Since acquiring Airland in 2003, he has driven rapid global growth, opening seven offices worldwide and establishing a major Asia-focused import department. 

An entrepreneurial first-mover in Africa and the Middle East, Jan helped develop new trade lanes and logistics best practices. Highly regarded in the automotive, mining and pharmaceutical sectors, he is a hands-on leader who frequently travels to support clients and translate complex project requirements into effective transport solutions.

Tony Berson

Group Director | Location: Australia

Tony is Group Director of Airland Logistics Asia Pacific, overseeing global sales and marketing with a focus on the resources sector. With over 35 years in freight forwarding, he has delivered innovative and sometimes high-risk transport solutions globally.

Starting his career from the ground up, Tony gained hands-on experience in every aspect of logistics—from air, sea, and multimodal transport to customs, and sales. 

His deep understanding of resource industries and specialist country knowledge allows him to design end-to-end logistics solutions aligned with clients’ critical project milestones, supporting their financial and operational goals from mobilisation through to production.
