Football For Social Change

We believe social change can be achieved through team sports - our sponsorship of FANT is aligned with Airland's commitment to give back to the communities in which we operate.  

FANT, a Danish NGO enables social and economic development in Sierra Leone through the establishment and support of football clubs in Freetown and surrounding provinces. 

On 1-2 June, FANT held its annual KARMA CUP - a tournament where more than 1,400 members from regional clubs meet and play against each other. The tournament aims to unite some of the former warring communities, something that is particularly important in Sierra Leone – a country still suffering after the civil war atrocities.
